The decision about admission from public sources will be made within 24 hours. In some cases, an interview may be necessary. An admission date can be scheduled at the time of admission notification. Referrals are taken from the Indiana Department of Child Services, Juvenile Probation and other organizations.

Referral materials such as a social history, psychiatric and psychological evaluations as well as treatment summaries are helpful in assessing a child for placement. If needed, a pre-admissions interview will be scheduled. The Home accepts referrals from the Indiana Department of Child Services, Juvenile Probation, Department of Corrections and from other sources.
