The Home provides care for youth between the ages of 14-19 without regard to sex, race, religion, ethnicity or family backgrounds.
The youth who benefit most from the services offered by the Home include: youth currently unable to live with their parents/legal guardians or with an alternate substitute family; youth who are not physically aggressive or exhibit behavioral, emotional and/or substance abuse problems that place the youth at risk of psychiatric or juvenile detention institutionalization; youth who would benefit from transitional services from a more restrictive environment prior to returning home or to independent living; youth who are dependent, neglected victims or witnesses of abuse or neglect and youth with academic and/or behavioral difficulty in school.
